The New Haven Museum is a local treasure, helping residents and visitors explore the dynamic and diverse cultural heritage of the city. The museum is open to the public generally Tuesday-Friday, from 10 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 12 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. for a very modest admission fee ($4 adults, $3 seniors, $2 students, free for children under 12).

The museum is open to the public every first Sunday of the month free of charge.

All are encouraged to visit the museum and engage with its exhibits, including a current special exhibition on New Haven’s own “monuments man,” Deane Keller, and permanent exhibits including the Amistad Gallery on the legacy of the Amistad affair.
